The garden is where time slows down and worries disappear — warm breezy days when the light is doing something extraordinary and the bumblebees are taking shelter between petals before nightfall. I come to know my plants like old friends each season, tending them with attention and quiet hope, photographing the flowers against the backdrop of the sky — on bright sunny days, right after a storm, as the sun sets dramatically to the west. The canvas is how I return — to the garden, to the light, to the moment when everything was exactly right. These paintings are my way of holding onto those moments, and inviting you into them.
From my garden to yours.
